July is the month for Water Lilies (Lotus)
 Since water lilies have significant meaning in Asian religions I thought it would make sense to make her dress Wa-Lolita styled also, usually in late July matsuri season starts in Japan (right?) so I wanted her to have one of those goldfish you get from the scooping games XD Lotus blossoms represent a purity of heart, enlightenment, and hope in life. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. actually july has 2 flowers for its month, (alot of other months do too) but I chose Lotus instead of Larkspur because i liked the meaning better, and water lilies sound cuter. plus they're easier to draw XD
